WHO WE ARE

Tickled Ink was founded in 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia by graphic designer, Emily Johnson. In 2010-2012 we met with brides in our showroom by appointment only in the neighborhoods of Buckhead and Decatur in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickled Ink moved physical locations to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2013, while still working with clients in Atlanta and all over the globe. We currently meet with brides and clients virtually or appointment only in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We are passionate about design, paper, painting, illustration, styling, and creating something beautiful and unique for our clients. MEET EMILY | OWNER & DESIGNER

Emily is the designer, artist, owner and paper enthusiast of Tickled Ink. She has close to 20 years of experience in graphic design, graduating from the Media Design School in Auckland, New Zealand (after receiving a BA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga) and has worked for advertising companies, magazines, CNN, and illustrated a children’s book, “Pardon Me, Is that the Grand Ole Opry?”. When Emily is not meeting with clients in her office in Chattanooga or designing invitations and stationery, she is spending time with her husband and her two children. She enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, painting, reading, exercising, decorating, and is always up for a new adventure.

THE NAME | TICKLED INK

Emily thought of her Southern roots, and the phrase “Tickled Pink” which means “delighted”. We hope that each client is "thrilled” or “tickled pink” by her designs and craftsmanship. The “p” was taken off of “pink” to make it the “ink” we print on our paper and products.

CUSTOM DESIGN

We do create custom painted artwork and logos, at the rate of $200/hour or a flat fee depending on the project. Emily’s rates are based upon her experience, but if you would like to choose a design she has already created, this is a great option to stay within a budget.
